Michael Hofle is the senior director for High Energy Lasers, in Global Spectrum Dominance within Raytheon Intelligence and Space, a business of Raytheon Technologies. Previously, he was the program manager for the U.S. Army’s Multi-Mission High Energy Laser (HEL) program. Hofle has over 20 years of experience in aerospace & defense holding various leadership and management positions in program management, engineering, mission assurance, line management, finance, supply chain management and operations. Hofle has held positions in program management in High Energy Lasers managing the rapid development of Raytheon’s “dune buggy” HEL weapon system and the capture effort of the Multi-Mission HEL Army program. He has also held positions in Engineering developing software for the F-35 program, and later as the software quality department manager. Hofle has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and master’s degrees in both microbiology and computer science, all from Texas A&M University. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
